The Literary Shed pays a nod and a wink to all those authors who have written or are writing in sheds. And celebrates all those things in life that we love best.
This labour of love is the product of a career editor and writer who can think of nothing better than reading a good book in the sun.
The site is dedicated to her mother who first introduced her to the delights of Mrs Frisby, Alice, Thornfield, Pemberley, film noir, Hitchcock, screwball comedy and so much more, magical worlds that her daughter still regularly revisits.
It also honours her brother, a total wordsmith. He loved a good lyric. Although sadly, for his sisters, he never could carry a tune.
